By creating an account, activating a trial, purchasing, installing, or continuing to use the software, the customer accepts these terms. Mandatory rights under applicable Algerian law remain unaffected.
Agreement and eligibility
The agreement is between Fikrova and the customer identified by the account, invoice, payment record, or license. The person accepting must be legally able and authorized to act for the customer or organization.
Account information must be accurate and kept secure. The customer is responsible for activity performed through its account and must report suspected compromise promptly.
License plans
Available products, plans, prices, validity periods, activation limits, and included services are those displayed by the Fikrova server in the public catalogue, customer portal, order, and invoice at the time of purchase. The server record controls access; website text or an old screenshot does not override a confirmed order.
A permanent licence has no expiry date for the purchased product while it is used in accordance with these terms. It does not automatically include unrelated products, future major products, paid extensions, cloud services, custom development, or on-site work unless the order expressly says so.
License grant
After valid payment or trial approval, Fikrova grants a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the licensed product for the customer's internal operations on the authorized device and within the purchased plan.
The software is licensed, not sold as source code or intellectual property. Fikrova and its licensors retain all ownership rights in the software, branding, documentation, updates, and licensing technology.
Device binding and validation
A license may be bound to one authorized machine unless the plan explicitly states otherwise. Moving it to another device requires the approved device-reset process.
Online validation, signed offline files, periodic checks, and local grace periods may be used to confirm status. Attempts to bypass activation, forge responses, reset trials, manipulate time, or alter protected license files are prohibited.
Restrictions
The customer may not resell, sublicense, share, publish, rent, copy for unauthorized users, remove ownership notices, interfere with the server, or use the software unlawfully.
Reverse engineering, decompilation, security circumvention, or extraction of keys is prohibited except to the narrow extent that applicable law expressly prevents such a restriction.
Customer responsibilities
The customer controls operational data entered into a Fikrova product and is responsible for lawful collection, accurate access permissions, secure Windows accounts, routine backups, and appropriate handling of candidate, student, employee, financial, and other personal information.
Fikrova is not responsible for loss caused by deleted files, hardware failure, malware, unauthorized Windows access, ignored backups, unsupported modifications, or third-party services outside Fikrova's control.
Payment and delivery
Prices, duration, payment method, and product are confirmed before approval. A submitted receipt is evidence for review and does not activate a paid license until Fikrova confirms the payment.
Once confirmed, the license is delivered through the account, activation service, key, or signed file. The Refund Policy forms part of these terms.
Paid extensions
Paid extensions are separate service entitlements unless the confirmed plan or order expressly includes them. Their product scope, features, start date, validity, and price are displayed before purchase and may end independently from the base licence.
A trial or permanent licence includes an extension only for the duration explicitly recorded by the licensing server. Extension access cannot be transferred, shared, resold, or inferred from ownership of the base product. Renewal or continued access may require a separate payment.
Cloud Backup
Cloud Backup is optional and separately controlled unless expressly included in the order. Eligibility, storage quota, retention count, validity, and supported products are recorded by the server. The customer must also maintain local backups.
Expiry or suspension of Cloud Backup may stop uploads and downloads without terminating the base desktop licence. Recovery on another machine requires verified account ownership and an eligible licence or backup entitlement. Fikrova may rotate or remove copies according to the published retention rules, security needs, legal duties, or service termination.
Updates and support
Fikrova may issue corrections, security updates, improvements, or required releases. Some releases may be necessary for security, compatibility, or licensing integrity.
Remote standard support is provided according to the Support Policy. On-site visits, training, migration, custom development, and work outside standard product support may be quoted separately.
Expiry, suspension, and termination
An expired license may enter view-only mode so existing records can be consulted without adding, changing, or deleting operational data. Renewal restores the purchased access after server confirmation.
Fikrova may suspend or revoke a license for fraud, payment reversal, unauthorized transfer, abuse, security threats, or material breach. Where reasonably possible and lawful, the customer will be given notice and an opportunity to resolve a correctable issue.
Conformity and liability
Fikrova will use reasonable professional care to deliver the licensed functions described for the product and to correct verified defects. Statutory conformity and consumer remedies remain available where applicable.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fikrova is not liable for indirect loss, lost profits, business interruption, or loss caused by customer systems, third-party services, misuse, or failure to maintain backups. Nothing excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by Algerian law. The parties should first contact support and attempt an amicable resolution. If that fails, disputes are submitted to the competent Algerian courts unless mandatory law requires another forum.
Changes to these terms
Fikrova may update these terms at any time for future use, legal, security, or service changes. The current version and effective date are published here and material changes will be notified when reasonably appropriate.
A change will not retroactively shorten an already-paid license period or remove mandatory legal rights. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms where permitted by law.
